MODERN BATHROOM

A bathroom design for a villa in Tuscany.

This project was assigned in a materials class to design a bathroom for a villa that exists in the hills of Tuscany while using a variety of materials of our choice. It was a group project, in which we decided to go with a very minimal, Japanese style. We decided to play with gres tiles, ceramic tiles, and wood to warm up the space. We included also a small tray of pebbles underneath the sink area to give the space a more natural feeling. We also played with the idea of LED light strips to accent the room and make it more dynamic.
